Tarot Tutoring
I can offer one-to-one Tarot tutoring through a variety of mediums, all tailored to suit your learning needs. If you’re a beginner seeking an introductory course to the Tarot, or even a reader with a number of years experience under your belt, or an advanced reader looking to become professional, I have tutoring and courses to suit you. One-to-one tuition via Skype
These sessions are available in any number, from a single session on a subject of Tarot you may be confused about, to a series of them over a number of months. We can start at any level of experience, and work with the Tarot together in a hands-on, practical and fun manner. The aim of these sessions is to help you develop your own relationship with the cards and your own style of reading, not to force you into a mould or make you copy my reading style. Filled with exercises, activities, discussion topics and practice readings that help you develop the techniques you can use in your readings, these one-to-one sessions function much like intensive seminars with a tutor.
Cost: £20/hour
Fortnightly Correspondance Course
This email correspondence course is based on my book, “Tarot 101: Mastering the Art of Reading the Cards”. Every new student will receive a free, signed copy of the book to form a basis for their studies.
The course consists of 22 lessons, each one carefully organized so that you develop your own Tarot reading style, relationship with the cards, and understanding of the Tarot system, whilst learning from the knowledge and experience of traditional Tarot wisdom. Students will be expected to go over each lesson, and perform the set homework and exercises, which will then be submitted to the tutor. Feedback will be given, including the opening of further discussion on the subject; expert advice is easily accessible as you will be able to email your tutor any questions you have about the course as you go through it.
By undertaking this course with a tutor instead of on your own, you are given further impetus to complete it thoroughly, guidance when you are confused, and extra bonus material not found in the original “Tarot 101″ book.
To complete the course you will undergo an examination that is not designed to test you but rather to boost your own confidence and understanding of yourself as a Tarot reader, your strengths, style and weaknesses. This will consist of: a quiz to highlight your best areas of knowledge; a completed Tarot journal; and records of at least ten Tarot readings performed for others, with feedback from the querents as well as your own notes. At the end of the course you will be at a level where you can begin to consider reading Tarot professionally
Cost: £220, payable in either four quarterly instalments of £55 or in full. If you already own a copy of “Tarot 101: Mastering the Art of Reading the Cards”, you can take the course for the reduced cost of £200.
Beginner’s Correspondence Course
Spanning ten lessons given fortnightly, this email correspondence course will include lessons for you to learn and homework for you to complete, with detailed feedback from myself and further discussion. They are designed to take you from beginner to an intermediate level of understanding, and by the end of the ten lessons you will be familiar with the Tarot pack, the subtle differences between Major Arcana, Minor Arcana and Court Cards, how to use intuitive understanding to interpret the cards, simple Tarot spreads, the symbolic systems that underlie the cards, developing your intuition and objectivity, and the basic meanings of the cards. It would be ideal for anybody who wants to read the cards for themselves and their friends and use them for fun and fortune-telling.
Cost: £100, payable either in two instalments of £50 or in full.
