February 29th comes once every 4 years, and is traditionally seen as a day that is not a day, a time that is not a time, when the normal rules cease to apply and things get a bit topsy turvy. It is also custom on this day that allows women to propose to men – though one source informs me that they can only do so if they are wearing britches and a red petticoat. February 29th, Leap Year Day, is a day for leaping into the unknown, and who better to take such a leap than our very own Tarot Fool?
So, here’s a spread for those times when you are about to make a big leap…
Card 1 – At the Fool’s Feet: the foundation you have beneath you that supports your leap
Card 2 – At the Fool’s Heels: events from the past or people either helping or hindering your leap
Card 3 – Out of the Fool’s Sight: the risks of taking this leap
Card 4 – Over the Fool’s Head: what you may not be taking into account
Card 5- In the Fool’s Pack: what resources you have at your disposal to enable you to take this leap
Card 6 – The Fool’s Leap: where this leap into the unknown will take you.
